It is heat tolerant, drought tolerant and pest free. It gets its name because of its orange color. This plant colors up well in late fall through winter with red, orange, and yellow on the newest growth. The colors “fade” to green with the coming of summer heat


Any location with bright lighting will will help the plant showcase its flame colors.

Water once a week. It is very drought tolerant. Less water helps control growth.

Well draining soil. Let it dry out for a couple of days between each watering.
